What should I study and which form of study suits me best? Prospective students found answers to these questions last Saturday at the Open Days at all three HMKW locations in Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt. Exciting trial lectures and presentations, as well as TV studio and campus tours, gave them the opportunity to get a personal impression of studying at HMKW.

How to sell advertising space and time and what challenges does media planning face today? In order to provide answers to these questions, we have had the opportunitiy to listen to many exciting guest speakers of Prof. Dr. Ingo Knuth's lectures.

Crisis and crisis communication as an object of research: This is the subject of the internationally renowned U.S. communication scientist Prof. Dr. Timothy Coombs. As part of the HMKW lecture series about the topic of transformation, he provided insights into his field of research. The PR professor's online lecture captivated more than 130 students and lecturers.

In a series of five enrolment ceremonies for the winter semester 2022/23, the university management welcomed the prospective new students at the Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt/Main campuses and gave an outlook on the new semester.

Back in presence: At the graduation ceremony in the Phorms Theater in Berlin, Bachelor's and Master's graduates were honored and bid farewell by their professors in a festive atmosphere.

At this year's annual conference of the European Media Management Association (emma) in Munich, HMKW lecturers from the departments of Management and Business Studies and Journalism and Communication took part and presented papers on current topics in the field of media management to an audience of professionals.
