Working in the heart of Berlin: The Berlin headquarters of HMKW is located in a historic industrial building at Ackerstraße 76 in the Mitte district. Spread over several floors, the university offers its students and employees modern premises for studying and working. Several public transport stops and green areas are only a few minutes walk away. Student Assistant LION Project

Student assistant for the BMBF funded project LION. Digital Learning EnvIrONments in the Metaverse for Social Sciences at the National University Kyiv Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA), Ukraine. (DAAD call: Ukraine Digital. Ensuring academic success in times of crisis). Department for Humanities, HMKW Berlin, MA Visual and Media Anthropology.

20 h per week / (start from 01/08/2022 until 31/12/2022.

Optional extension until 12/2023 after successful re-application for 2023.

Job tasks: General assistant for the project in coordination tasks and social media content creation.

Job requirements: Enrolled MA student in Visual and Media Anthropology at a German university, experience and passion for virtual environments technology, experience with Horizon Workroom and Horizon worlds and Oculus / Meta Quest 2 is a plus for the application. 

This is a remote AR/VR-position. Daily working and meeting place is in Horizon Workrooms.

Start 01/08/2022 until 31/12/2022.

The lecturing activities have a workload of 3 to 5 weekly hours per term each and are exempted from value-added tax.
