The psychology department at HMKW offers innovative teaching programmes for Bachelor and Master students in both English and German. It is involved in research projects with a particular focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainability-oriented and values-based innovation. The current job offer invites candidates to support a newly starting Erasmus+ Innovation Alliance project.
The Strategic Foresight for Sustainability (SF4S) project creates new management methods and educational materials to mainstream futures skills and sustainable innovation. HMWK partners with universities, vocational training institutions, innovation networks and companies from the agriculture and food, health and mobility sectors to facilitate the transition to a more sustainable European economy. As one of the driving forces in this project you will conduct interviews with strategic foresight and sustainability specialists, support the identification of grand challenges in various industries, and explore new futures research and foresight methods. The position is 60 percent part-time for three years in the first instance and starts in June 2022.
Key Requirements
As an ideal candidate you will have strong academic or professional background in the fields of Future Studies, Innovation Management, or Business Strategy. You hold a master or PhD degree in psychology, business, management studies (or another closely related field). You are fluent in spoken and written English and (optional) German. You can also demonstrate commitment to inclusive, research-based education that contributes to the department's overall profile in learning and teaching (e.g. of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, “Business Anthropology” and “Gamification for Organizations” modules). The candidate should have experience in academic writing and be able to give constructive feedback to students.

Salary is oriented to similar positions in the public sector.
