Berlin insiders have known it for a long time: Wedding is the place to be. Now it's official: The famous magazine Time Out has nominated the district around Osloer Straße, Gesundbrunnen and Leopoldplatz as one of the 40 coolest neighborhoods in the world.
The start of a new, initially hybrid semester: The matriculation ceremony for the winter semester 2020/21 took place recently at the three branches Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt (Main) on site and online via livestream. The university management welcomed the prospective new students and gave a preview of the new semester, most of which will probably take place online.
Whether online matriculation ceremonies, lectures via zoom or the virtual semester shows of the Department of Design: The past semester at the HMKW has not only confronted the students but also the university with unusual but also exciting challenges. Here we have a look back on this semester, which was extraordinary in every respect.
This year HMKW took part in the renowned Europe Teaching Survey for the first time and scored above average in the survey.
