Department of Management and Business Studies

For more than 10 years Media University has trained young talents for their professional careers in agencies, medium-sized companies and corporations. Graduates of our study programs are now employed in the music and artist management, in the event planning or influencer marketing.

In the department of Management and Business Studies we impart business expertise and enhance creative thinking in the field of management. Our students are able to gather practical experiences throughout their studies, especially during the practical modules. Here they are responsible for conception and implementation of own projects. Whether organization, coordination, production or calculation, planning and application – we support our students to develop on a professional and personal level.

Study programs

With M.A. International Marketing and Media Management our department offers a practice-oriented consecutive Master program. Graduates of degrees in general management or the social sciences can specialize in the theory and practice of marketing and media management.

In this program students will improve their knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative methodology. Topics such as media management and economics, marketing communication, consumer behavior, price and sales management, emerging media markets, digital transformation as well as applied market research are the central parts of the curriculum.

The program is offered in English at our branches in Berlin and Frankfurt. At Campus Cologne the program is taught in German.
