Just in time for the start of the winter semester 2021/22, the first of a total of four enrolment days took place at Media University Cologne on Friday, October 1. During the department-specific events, more than 100 new Bachelor's and Master's students were welcomed to the Cologne campus by the university and site management, among others. As every semester, the AStA (General Students' Committee) of Media University Cologne took the opportunity to introduce itself to the new fellow students and to invite them to participate in the important interaction between the students and the university institution.
Hello Berlin! Warm welcome to Germany's capital
On Monday and Tuesday, the new "freshmen" from the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs were welcomed to the Berlin campus. The ceremony was again held as a hybrid event, meaning that some new students had the chance to participate online via Zoom and to be enrolled virtually in person by the university administration. The Master's matriculation ceremony once again highlighted the university's great internationality, with students from the U.S., India, Bulgaria, Egypt, South Korea, Belgium, and many other countries from around the world attending.
Last but definitely not least: Frankfurt!
The new location in the west of Frankfurt is filled with life again after 3 semesters of online courses. The university and department heads as well as new professors warmly welcomed the students on Wednesday, October 6. Since many students have not yet seen the new campus, the AStA showed a video with a campus tour and invited the new students to the "Ersti event". We are also happy to announce that for the first time the study program "Digital Marketing and E-Commerce" will start in Frankfurt! Also in Frankfurt, numerous international students from Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Finland and many more enrich the Master's programs!
