What kind of challenges cultural institutions and museums have to face nowadays? Our students would like to find out in their new project that is running from December to January. On the basis of their observations and analyses they want to examine how knowledge can be imparted these days – as in our age educational content and digital media compete against each other constantly.

In the course of the project case studies, experimental designs and innovative concepts will be created. In January all concepts will be presented to Paul Spies, the director of Märkisches Museum who together with a jury will decide about the best concept that will be implemented to the current exhibition. We are really looking forward to our students’ ideas!

Here are some impressions from the first kick off with curator Peter Lummel and a guided tour through the museum. Yesterday’s session was all about the topics story share and capture. Moreover, the students made a first SWOT analysis.
