Graduation ceremony Media University Berlin

At the graduation ceremony in the Phorms Theater, the newly graduated students were honored by the university management and teaching staff and given a ceremonial farewell.

In his opening speech, University Rector Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Schulz took a humorous and fact-filled look at the situation of graduates worldwide. This was immediately followed by the first highlight of the ceremony — the honoring of the best Bachelor's and Master's theses.
After a short speech, the winners were called to the stage to receive their certificates from their respective first supervisors.

In a personal speech, alumna Pia Pentzlin (B.A. Journalism and Corporate Communications) reflected on the events that shaped the years of her studies: from the pandemic and the return to teaching on campus to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. She will remember the lively culture of discussion, which she hopes her fellow students will maintain outside the protected space of the university.

After the group photo with the obligatory hat toss, the relaxed get-together in Media University's media lounge provided an opportunity to discuss plans after graduation.

We wish all alumni from the departments of Design, Journalism & Communication, Psychology and Economics every success in their future careers and a good start to their professional lives!
