Principle of anonymous data usage

An exception regarding the collection of personal data applies only if you voluntarily enter your data on our website and expressly declare your consent. This is the case, for example, if you email us, or if you fill out a form that requires personal data stating that you agree to the collection and use of this information. We assure confidential treatment of your data in accordance with the latest principles of data protection and its use is limited exclusively to the purpose of processing your request. There will be no use of your data for other purposes without your express consent. You may at any time revoke your consent for future use. Application process

If you apply electronically, your data will be used exclusively to process your application. Please note that applications that you send by e-mail will be transmitted unencrypted. A transfer via the online application form will be encrypted through secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol (https).

In the case of a successful application and a contract to study at Media University, your data will be transferred to the Intranet, where they will be stored for the duration of your studies.

 

Use of the customer relationship management (CRM) software HubSpot

If you make contact via a form integrated on the Media University website (e.g. applying for a study place, requesting information material, making general contact, registering for our event mailings/newsletter or registering for attending an event), the data you enter will be collected, stored and made editable for us via the CRM provider HubSpot. This presupposes that you have given your consent for the respective purpose in the form - and, if desired, also for other of the above-mentioned purposes. Cookies and web analytics services
