During their 4-week-stay at Summer School Media University Cologne, 20 Bachelor and Master students from Jain University, Bangalore, under the guidance of Prof. Sankaran Madhavan, participated in a comprehensive program focussing on TV and radio production. Lecturers from our journalism, design, business and psychology departments created an interdisciplinary, multi-facetted program, including excursions to media power houses such as WDR, DuMont, Deutsche Welle as well as trips to Amsterdam and Berlin.

One of the assignments for the students was to plan and record a radio show about their experiences in Germany – as a real production for ‚Freier Lokalrundfunk Köln‘, supported by Media University lecturers Martin Aichmayr and Prof. Dr. Bettina Lendzian.

The result will be broadcasted on
-- Sunday, August 7th, 19:00 till 20:00 h CET, and on
-- Friday, September 1st, 20:00 till 21:00 h CET
on ‚Radio Köln‘, 107,1 MHz, and it will be streamed online on http://freestream.nmdn.net/radioplayer/radiokoeln/
