Werdegang

Evandro Oliveira, Dipl.-Journ., M.A.; M.Sc. Dr. phil.; rer. pol., ist seit 2017 Professor für Unternehmenskommunikation an der HMKW Berlin und Studiengangsleiter des englischsprachigen Masterprogramms M.A. Public Relations and Digital Marketing. Seit November 2018 ist Prof. Oliveira Vizevorsitzenden der Sektion Organizational and Strategic Communication der großen akademischen Assoziation ECREA. Er hat in einem gemeinsamen Projekt der Universität Leipzig (unter Betreuung druch Prof. Dr. Ansgar Zerfaß und Prof. Dr. Günter Bentele) und der Universidade do Minho (Braga) über ‚NGO Strategic Communication‘ parallel in gleich zwei Fachrichtungen promoviert: Doctor philosophiae und rerum politicarum.1996 begann Oliveira seine inzwischen über zwanzig Jahre andauernde Praxiserfahrung in Kommunikationsberufen.

Mehr als zehn Jahre arbeitete er unter anderem bei der portugiesischen Nachrichtenagentur Lusa, beim öffentlich-rechtlichen Fernsehen, verschiedenen Zeitungen und Radiosendern. Seit 2004 übernimmt er verschiedene Beratungstätigkeiten im Bereich PR und Kommunikationsmanagement, unter anderem bei der Europäische Raumfahrtagentur (ESA), Greenpeace, der Europäischen Kommission, UNICEF, Amnesty International, 350.org, PayPal, MFG (Innovationsagentur), der katalanischen und der Baden-Württembergischen Regierung. Zusätzlich arbeitete er auch für Fujitsu Services, NetApp, Det Norske Veritas, Air-Berlin und KPN-Dutch Telekom. Im Jahr 2010 war er außerdem Creative Director bei der Agentur QuadrigaArt in New York. Dieses wird mit internationalen Projekten und der Lehre in europäischen Ländern sowie in Asien, Nord- und Südamerika vervollständigt. 

Evandro Oliveira forscht am Society Research Centre der Minho University in Braga, Portugal. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich Kommunikationsmanagement von NGOs, Social Media sowie Theorien der Politischen Kommunikation und Organisationskommunikation.

Von 2013 bis 2017 war er Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Strategische Kommunikation des Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaftlichen Instituts an der Universität Leipzig bei Professor Ansgar Zerfaß. In dieser Zeit hat er über dreißig akademische Veröffentlichungen herausgebracht und zahlreiche Lehrveranstaltungen gegeben. Außerdem war er Gastdozent an der Universidade Complutense de Madrid, Universidade Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Universität Sao Paulo in Brasilien, Universidade da Beira-Interior, Portugal.

Oliveira ist Gastprofessor für Interkulturelle und Internationale Kommunikation an der Leipzig School of Media und betreut Master Arbeiten an der Universität Leipzig.
