A warm welcome to HMKW: HMKW's first bachelor's and master's degree students will be ceremonially enrolled at all three campuses during the first days of April. The Cologne campus made the start, Berlin had its ceremony today. Frankfurt will welcome their students tomorrow.
On Saturday, numerous HMKW Berlin graduates were given a ceremonial farewell by the university management, department heads and lecturers during a virtual graduation ceremony.
30 coaching researchers from all over Europe (Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Latvia, Netherlands, UK) came together both at HMKW in Berlin and online for a hybrid meeting dedicated to advancing the science and practice of workplace coaching.
In a study, HMKW professors Dr. Eva-Maria Eick and Dr. Sven Dierks from the Psychology Department used the emotion recognition tool TAWNY to reveal the effects of an advertising interruption on viewers.
On November 3, the Career Day took place at HMKW Berlin for the first time. The event offered companies and HMKW students networking opportunities as well as the chance to talk about concrete career entry options.

Finally back on site: For the first time since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, the enrollment ceremonies for the winter semester 2021/22 are taking place on campus at HMKW in Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt Main - in compliance with the 3G rule. HMKW Cologne made the start on October 1.
Last semester, Prof. Maika Rawolle supervised the master module “Human and Organizational Resource Management” which is made up of 50% theoretical parts and 50% project work. The students could choose from different project topics and were invited to the artificial intelligence startup Streem.ai where they took the role of consultants. The results were presented to Streem.ai founders Avi Elran, Abou George and Gary Abela and were a great success.
This year marks the third and final stage of the Erasmus+ GAMFY project led by HMKW in cooperation with Complutense University Madrid, Design School Kolding and HHL Leipzig. Recently, our colleagues Prof. Henning Breuer and Kiril Ivanov took part in presenting the latest outcomes of the project in the 32nd edition of the ISPIM conference, which was a virtual event hosted in Berlin.
Fee Lobinger successfully completed her bachelor's degree in media and business psychology at HMKW Cologne in 2017. After internships in change management and HR consulting, she is now a lecturer in HR psychology, HR business consultant and founder of the social media agency zwoelfstein.
