Anna Lilly Gansau and Lea Heinert are studying graphic design and visual communication in their 4th semester at Campus Berlin. In 2021, they made their own short film, "Drowning Mind," which received a "Special Mention" at the Meduc Award. They told us in a short interview how the nomination and award came about and what advice they would give students from the design department.
New semester, new skills! Starting May 3, twice a week there will be an online and on-site Adobe beginners' course (in English) for all HMKW students and employees starting at 6 pm. Participation is free of charge!
The 16th International Journalism Festival (IJF) took place in Perugia, Italy, from April 6th to 10th. HMKW professor Dr. Maren Urner presented and discussed the future of journalism with international guests on two panels.
A warm welcome to HMKW: HMKW's first bachelor's and master's degree students will be ceremonially enrolled at all three campuses during the first days of April. The Cologne campus made the start, Berlin had its ceremony today. Frankfurt will welcome their students tomorrow.
