The prestigious fellowship honors once a year a policy expert or renowned scientist and is awarded by the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius. It aims at supporting the work of an individual who has shown excellence in the academic and policy spheres through commitment to advancing the transatlantic relationship and European integration.
During his research visit in Washington, DC Prof. Dr. Markus Ziener will focus on Germany’s strong export capacity, the external value of the Euro, and the mutual tariffs system.
