Photo project: Inside Out Brunnenviertel

In the winter semester of 2020/21, 27 students from the B.A. Graphic Design and Visual Communication program spent two months exploring the Brunnenviertel through online research and neighborhood walks as part of the Photography seminar, learning to see new things and to see their seeing in a new way.

In order to discover the true stories of the sometimes inconspicuous, sometimes quite gray-looking places of the neighborhood, different photographic approaches were desired. Again and again, an examination of role models and their visual language helped to sharpen the students' own series of images.
