In just one week and a half the students realized their photo series concerning the topic "The world in front of my door". It is impressing to see the students' high degree of professionality regarding their first photo project of their studies.

For example, Neve Boldt set up a mobile photo studio in front of the HMKW building. In her photo series she portrayed fellow students in front of a white canvas. Student Lena Bernicke was inspired by the US-american photo artist Cindy Sherman. Like her great idol she took photos of herself in different disguises. Her photo series shows the great variety of people and personalities you are able to encounter in Brunnenviertel day-to-day.

Whether portraits of locals, fascinating pictures of architecture or elegant street photography shots in black and white: the students captured the variety of HMKW Berlin's immediate neighborhood in all its facets and aspects.

The exhibition in "Waschküche" (Feldstraße 10) can be visited by everyone until December 8th. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 5 to 8 pm.
