#UNMUTE: On-site opening of the HMKW Berlin semester show

Finally reconnecting with people, finally interacting without Zoom & Co. again! The days of being all alone in front of the screen at home are over for now: Last Friday, the Department of Design presented selected works by students and graduates in the Kreuzberg gallery CLB under the slogan #UNMUTE. In addition, the alumni celebrated their graduation and said goodbye to their fellow students and lecturers.

The pleasure of seeing each other again was huge on all sides: In the last few semesters, classes were mainly held online, and students and teachers had previously only gotten to know each other via Zoom. The exhibition was also an opportunity to have a look at the work of fellow students and to be inspired by the final projects of students such as the ADC Talent Award winners Max Bartram and Daniel Schreck and many others.

In addition to poster designs, works from the field of branding and photo projects such as the magazine INSIDE OUT (Prof. Nora Bibel), exhibition visitors were able to interactively explore the students' work on the homepage of this year's semester exhibition. Or they could get creative right away and design their own tote bag with iron-on tapes and then take it home as a souvenir.

At the end of this evening full of creativity and exciting conversations, the bachelor's and master's graduates from the classes of 2020 and 2021 were called onto the stage by their supervisors and given a ceremonial farewell. All the best and thank you for this wonderful evening at the CLB!
