In the module “Media Production” HMKW students Christian Caurla and Jonathan Walker (M.A. Convergent Journalism) shot a report about refugees in Frankfurt (Oder). The report is now presented in the program of Germany’s international news channel Deutsche Welle.
History is tedious? No way! In this semester students of M.A. Communication Design evolved new concepts for Märkisches Museum in Berlin-Mitte. On Thursday they presented their ideas to the museum team which was very keen on the students’ fresh perspective and their ability to think outside the box.
As a part of the cooperation with Märkisches Museum Berlin students of the master program Communication Design develop creative concepts in order to improve communication and mediation of educational contents in the age of digitalization.
The Internet Governance Forum, which is organized by the United Nations and held in Berlin from November 25 to 29, 2019, was hosted in Germany for the first time this year. Our students (M.A. Convergent Journalism) were on site the whole week, accompanied the event closely and established contacts with internet experts from all over the world.
In their "Design and Social Research" lessons MA Communication Design students analyzed the impact of graphic design in everyday life on their creativity, letting the analysis influence their writing of poems and lyrics.
On October 9, the kick-off meeting for a new project seminar took place at the Berlin campus. The students of M.A. International Marketing and Media Management met with representatives of both partner companies.
