On June 17th and 18th, about 35 Master students of HMKW Berlin and Cologne, accompanied by their professors Dr. Ingo Knuth and Dr. Boris Alexander Becker, went on a virtual field trip to the Cities of Hamburg and Cologne.
According to HMKW lecturer Ramzi Fatfouta and Yulia Oganian from the University of California, mouth and nose covers, as they are currently worn, have a considerable influence on decisions in negotiation situations. In their preprint of the study, they have published the first astonishing results on this new phenomenon.
Creativity knows no boundaries: Despite lockdown and quarantine blues, our graphic and communication designers have been bubbling over with ideas this semester. The most outstanding works and projects were shown at the virtual exhibition of HMKW Berlin, which took place on Friday via Zoom.
Project week with a difference: This semester, students of the Department of Psychology will re-enact, conduct and evaluate three classic psychological experiments - in Second Life instead of on the real campus.
Data protection has been a highly topical and much-discussed issue at least since the launch of the Corona-Warn-App. On 25 June 2020, Dr. Volker Wodianka visited lecturer Sophie Carls in the lecture "Digital Economy" and spoke with the students about data protection in the digital world.
