After students of the two partner universities JAIN University in Bengaluru, India, and HMKW Cologne, Germany, have visited each other’s campus for several weeks, a new group of students from India arrived last Friday in Germany. Only 24 hours later they experienced their first highlight of their visit while taking part in the Cologne Lights event. Their stay is being organized by students and lecturers from HMKW Cologne. On their first day at the campus they were officially introduced by the study advisory and organization team and got a guided tour through the university. Their second day startet with a visit at the headquarter of a big German publisher, the Mediengruppe DuMont. Besides excursions and a spare time program, the summer school covers several media production and theoretical lessons such as filming, social media psychology, 3D workshop or video and radio production. Apart from their stay in Cologne the students will also spent time in the other HMKW cities Berlin and Frankfurt (Main).
The student exchange is part of HMKW‘s internationalization and provides students as well as lecturers with the chance of intercultural exchange and experience. JAIN University in Bengaluru, India, is one of thirty international partner institutions of HMKW.
We wish our guests from India a great and unforgettable stay at HMKW and in Germany!
