"Despite Corona, we are delighted to have Solarisbank, a growing and innovative FinTech, as a partner for our practical module. Solarisbank's commitment and willingness in these somewhat difficult times offers students a great opportunity to apply and try out their acquired knowledge in practice," said Prof. Dr. Christian Möller of HMKW, who is leading the project on the university's side.
"Working with students is always a pleasure for us, HMKW is an excellent project partner and we are looking forward to the analyses and impulses", so Baha Jamous, Vice President Marketing & Communication of Solarisbank, who is in charge of the project on the company's side.
As part of the practical module "Advanced Strategic Communication", Solarisbank follows cooperation partners such as Reporters Without Borders or the start-up Kaffee Kooperative. As a "tech company with a banking license," Solarisbank enables other companies to integrate financial services into their own product offerings. In Germany, for example, the bank provides the technical and regulatory infrastructure for Samsung Pay, American Express or Bitwala.
"I would also like to thank the education officer of the German Association of Communicators (BdKom), Ina Froehner, who established the contact with Solarisbank," Möller added.
