Virtual Graduation Ceremony 2021 at HMKW Berlin

Take care, dear alumni! Last Friday, during a virtual graduation ceremony, the graduates of the last two years were given a festive farewell by the university management and lecturers.

In their opening speeches, University Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ronald Freytag and Rector Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Schulz once again referred to the international character of HMKW and wished the graduates all the best in this fast-moving and dynamic (working) world. Following an old HMKW tradition, they also honored the best theses. Among them were the ADC-awarded theses of Daniel Schreck and Max Bartram from the Design department, as well as numerous bachelor's and master's theses by students from the departments of Journalism, Psychology and Management and Business Studies.

Finally, after a moving speech by media and event management graduate Nicole Schondorf (now working in administration at HMKW Frankfurt) toasts were raised in front of the screens. In breakout sessions, all participants had the chance to talk to fellow students and lecturers, e.g. about their plans after graduation.

We wish all alumni much success for the future and a good start into their professional life!
