Vortrag + Präsentation von Experimenten/Tools im Rahmen der Langen Nacht der Wissenschaften

vor Ort, EN

Research into “artificial intelligence” (AI) has given rise not only to new analysis methods, but also to generative models that can produce deceptively real images and videos, so-called “deep fakes”. These generators also inspire design practice – but are only the most spectacular part of these new techniques. In his presentation Prof. Dr. Jan-Henning Raff will focus on a less explored area: the arrangement of text and images in visual communication. How can AI support this creative everyday task of designers? How to foster creativity – not replace it?
